The Cadet Band is the representative performing group for Atchison Middle School. This band currently has 31 members playing Flute, Clarinet, Bass Clarinet, Alto Sax, Tenor Sax, Baritone Sax, Trumpet, French Horn, Trombone, and Percussion. The Cadet Band plays a varied repertoire of music including, marching, jazz, and concert band. The 8th Grade Band performs at many functions throughout the year including Parades, Pep Assemblies, an AHS football game, the AMS Basketball Tournament, as well as, the Winter/Spring Concerts and 8th Grade Recognition.
